Members Draw
Ballina Credit Union car draw has been running since July 2000 and takes place four times a year.
The first prize is €15,000 cash prize, the second prize is a €3,000, the third prize is a €2,000. Additional prizes will range up to €1,500.
All funds raised are returned to members in the form of cash prizes. Terms and conditions apply.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a draw a member must, at least two weeks before the holding of the draw:
a) Be eighteen years of age or over.
b) Have provided written consent to the credit union for inclusion in the draw.
c) Have sufficient funds in their unattached savings account (i.e. savings not being used as security for a loan) as determined by the Board to pay the entry fee for the draw.
d) The entrance fee of €8.28 per quarter will be deducted in advance from unattached savings or as defined from time to time by the Board of Directors.
A member’s participation will cease;
a) When their savings have fallen below the amount required to pay the fee.
b) On receipt by the Credit Union of a signed instruction from the member withdrawing from the draw.
c) Or cessation of membership of the Credit Union - in such event, any prepaid entry fee shall be refunded to the member.
Additional Terms and Conditions
The winning participants names and photographs of the draw may be used for promotion purposes. Furthermore, the participants may be asked to help BCU with additional promotional activities.
Ballina Credit Union reserves the right to cancel the draw if any issue arises during the draw process, that BCU would warrant that in the interests of all, the draw should be cancelled and that a new draw for the participants should take place. All results in such a situation from the first draw will be deemed to be null and void and a new draw will take place.
