Chapter Quiz Brings Excitement to Westport

On Saturday, March 8^th, the second stage of the Credit Union Quiz took place at the Westport Woods Hotel, bringing together some of Mayo’s brightest young minds for an afternoon of friendly competition.

Ballina Credit Union was delighted to have four outstanding teams from across our common bond take part: St. Joseph’s National School (Bonniconlon) and Foxford National School in Competition A, and Quagnamanger National School and Lisaniska National School in Competition B. These teams went head-to-head against schools from across the county, showcasing their impressive knowledge and teamwork.

Despite a tough contest, Quagnamanger National School emerged victorious in Competition B and will now proudly represent Chapter 18 in this division at the National Stage of the competition.

A special thank you to Pauline, Erin, Joan, Liam and the team at Westport Credit Union for hosting such a well organised event and for creating such a fun-filled atmosphere that made the day truly memorable.

The afternoon was a wonderful celebration of learning, teamwork and Credit Union community spirit.

Congratulations to all participants and the very best of luck to Quagnamanger team as they continue on to the final stage of the competition.
