“Ballina Credit Union continues to expand. The member-owned organisation, which is one of the largest standalone credit unions in the region, is progressing from strength to strength,” he said.
It is easy to sign up to the new Ballina Credit Union Current Account. The low monthly fee of €4 covers unlimited euro point of sale and contactless transactions, unlimited mobile and online banking, and up to five ATM withdrawals per month.
“The launch of full-service current accounts is great news for our growing membership,” said CEO of the credit union, Michael Ferguson.
“The new Current Account includes Mastercard Debit Card with Contactless Payments, Standing Orders, Direct Debits, and the option of an Overdraft facility.
“Ballina Credit Union members can open a Current Account online or in our office at O’Rahilly Street, Ballina,” said Michael.
But new members are also welcome at this dynamic credit union, and the new Current Account product is immediately available to new members.
In 2020, credit unions claimed top position for the best customer experience in Ireland at the official CXi award, for the sixth year in a row.
The CXi Report is published annually by the CX Company, based on a survey carried out on their behalf by Amárach Research. Credit unions also topped the poll for best financial brand and the best brand for loyalty.
